my problem with Trump.

It's not the incompetence or the disgusting hypocrisy. He's killing my commute. 

 

TRAFFIC HAVOC THURSDAY AND FRIDAY

President Donald Trump travels to Manhattan this Thursday and Friday. There will be street closures throughout the day. He is scheduled to arrive early evening on Thursday at JFK but will take a helicopter to the Wall Street Heliport.  Expect the area around the Heliport (Water, South and John streets) and throughout the financial district to be closed from 6:00pm 10:00pm. The FDR will be closed below the Brooklyn Bridge and Battery Park Underpass so that the motorcade can pass through. Since his destination is the Intrepid, the West Side Highway from the Battery to 56th Street southbound will close from the afternoon and evening until he departs to go midtown to Trump Tower. Heading south on the north side of the FDR will cause much traffic and congestion along the way. President Trump will spend the night at Trump Tower so expect street closures around 55th and 56th street between Sixth and Madison Avenues. Demonstrations are anticipated throughout the day from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Friday morning he will visit the 21 Club thereby closing 52nd and 53rd between 5th and 6th Ave and eventually leaving for New Jersey for the weekend.
